The Story of The Dopamine Delivery...
I first had the idea for an ADHD subscription box a couple of years ago.
But you know, with ADHD, the ideas are never the problem, it's the actually getting it to be a thing!
The idea wouldn't let me go though, and eventually I started doing some market research to see what's out there.
And I was Stunned!
There was NOTHING for women like me. Even though I was CERTAIN this would be a great idea - I would buy it myself!
All the ADHD boxes I could find were either
- aimed at children / stim toys only
- OR were full of only glittery, rainbow, cartoon-style stuff which felt infantilising and not what I want as a nearly 40 year old woman
I then had HUGE self doubt...
was I totally wrong about feeling there was a space to create something full of items which feel like a luxury treat to yourself, for the grown up (Maybe) ADHD woman who likes beautiful, useful things?
But the idea just wouldn't let me go.
And I know myself well enough that the only way for me when this happens is to try the thing...
and So I Created the Dopamine Delivery!
